Ladies, ladies, ladies..... Come on now.
You have a mirror at home, right? Probably a bathroom.
Don't make us watch you primp.
kthanxbye!

R train. Night. Fat guy.

The  M is different at night. I stayed late at work and then got to watch these guys eating fried chicken drumettes. They never looked at each other or exchanged a word but ate from the same box.

Probably married.

King of the bench . . . for one stop only.

We're a city of readers!

Three ladies. Going by my morning commute, there are more working ladies than working men. Or maybe just more of them take the subway.

It's Monday and we are thrilled to be heading back to our jobs.

This young man is mixing some wild colors and patterns, right? His gf had a lively patterned bag that didn't 'toon as well as well as I'd hoped. The lady on the left got her head cut off, sadly. She had a really round head and face complimented by some half-round ear-muff head phones, and I wanted to capture that.
A 2-panel vignette:

The man in green t-shirt and the lady at the end reading her Kindle had the seat to themselves . . .

. . . until an aggressive little lady fitted herself into the small opening.   It's rush hour, people! What do you expect.

I commute on the M train from Forest Hills to Rockefeller Center every day. On the M train, 3 people can fit between the pole and the end of the bench, sometimes comfortably, other times not so much. This blog is about all those times.
